Heidi Smotherman

Heidi was born September 7, 1955 in Estherville, IA to the late Melvin and Helen Peterson.  On September 7, 1975 Heidi married Ray Smotherman in Clovis, NM. Heidi and Ray were married for 43 years and had 3 beautiful daughters. Heidi was the lead Crossing Guard with the Killeen School District for 15 years.

Heidi was a loving mother to her girls and spoiled her grandchildren. Heidi was a former member of The First United Methodist Church, Killeen.

She is survived by her husband Ray; her daughters, Laura Weaver, Rachel Smotherman, and Eleanor Chitwood; grandchildren, Evelyn, Katie, Madeline, and Tommy; her sister Cora Knutson and a half-brother Wayne Peterson
