Helen Upshaw

Memorial services for Helen Ann Upshaw, 67, will be held 3 p.m. Sunday at New Beginnings for All People Ministries in Killeen with Apostle Charles A. Daniels officiating.
Ms. Upshaw died on July 15, 2021, at her residence in Killeen.
She was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on August 23, 1953, and grew up in Niagara Falls New York.
Helen Upshaw married Michael Scott Upshaw on May 17, 1975, worked at Mount St. Mary’s Hospital in Lewiston, New York for many years and retired from Compu-Mail in Grand Island New York in 2017.
Her hobbies and interests included dancing, playing bingo and socializing with her family and friends.
Ms. Upshaw was preceded in death by husband Michael Scott Upshaw, father Henry Lee Simmons, mother Mable James and brothers Kerry James, Larry Simmons and grandson Thomas Cook II.
Survivors include Sisters: Priscilla McKenzie of Niagara Falls, New York; Anita Joseph of Niagara Falls, New York; and Andora Wilson of Buffalo New York. Brother: Bernard Ewing of Buffalo of New York; Calvin Simmons of Niagara Falls, New York; David Simmons of San Antonio; Kenneth Simmons of Atlanta, Georgia and Carl Simmons of North Carolina.
Children: Holly Noel Bell-Upshaw of Niagara Falls, New York; Charmaine Upshaw (Thomas Cook) of Niagara Falls, New York; Christopher (Shameka) Upshaw of Killeen.
Grandchildren: Syanelle Parker of Fayetteville North Carolina; Corey Lamonte Parker Jr. of Niagara Falls, New York; Daveon Cook of Niagara Falls, New York: Davon Cook of Niagara Falls, New York; Zakiyah Natania Upshaw and Kaila Gabrielle Upshaw of Killeen.
Great Grandchildren: Stormie James and Wyntre James of Fayetteville, North Carolina.
