Herbert Hinch

A Celebration of Life gathering will be held on Monday, January 30, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at the HarperTalasek Funeral Home. Burial with full military honors will follow at 3:00 p.m. at the Killeen City Cemetery.

Herbert was born in Honolulu, Hawaii on September 4, 1929. He loved the sea and lived his life as such, free and easy and he now travels the road to paradise to the arms of his loved ones who have gone before him.

Herbert was proud of his service to his country and retired from the U.S. Army in 1972 . He served in the Indochina, Korean and Vietnam Wars.
Herbert was a father, grandfather , great grandfather and friend to many.
He is survived by his daughters: Judy and husband Bob Lesieur, Shirley Hinch and partner Stephanie Hunter, Cathy Fujioka three grandchildren: David and Rob Lesieur and Jessica FujiokaKapono and husband Calvin and two greatgrandchildren: Marc and Noah FujiokaKapono.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Diana Hinch, exspouse Marion Hinch, parents Eliza and Samuel Hinch, and siblings.

Blessings of Aloha to the doctors, nurses and all the helping hands at Scott White Hospital who cared for our dad and family during his time of illness.
