Hyun O

Services for Hyun Lyul O, 77, of Killeen, will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 6, at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Killeen.

Hyun Lyul O went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 4, in his home.

Hyun Lyul O was born March 6, 1939 in PyongYang, Korea to Su Geun O and Jung Ok Kim.

He spent his life as a teacher and transferred his job to a public official in Korea. He enjoyed listening to 30's to 50's Korean music, and Hyun-In and Lee Mi-ja were his favorite artists. He loved fishing and playing volley ball, soccer, and billiard.

He was preceded in death by his spouse, Hye Il O, and a granddaughter, Ji Soo O.

Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Hye Il O; daughters, Song Suk McDaniel and Jung Suk O; son, Young Min O; grandsons, Ji Hwan Lee, Vincent McDaniel, and Victor McDaniel; granddaughter, Ji Soo O; grandson-in-law, Myung Sub Lee.
Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Killeen is in charge of arrangements.
