Irene Zazicki

Memorial services for Irene Zazicki, 82, of Killeen, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at HarperTalasek Funeral Home in Killeen with Pastor Jimmy Towers of Lifeway Fellowship Church officiating. Ms. Zazicki died Nov. 26, 2013, in Houston surrounded by family after a courageous battle from complications experienced after a fall in her home. She was born Nov. 28, 1931, in Nanticoke, Pa., to Edward and Pauline Zazicki. She lived at various times in Washington, D.C., New York, and New Jersey until she moved to Killeen in 1993. A woman of abundant talent, she particularly enjoyed working with ceramics, crocheting and crafting. Ms. Zazicki was preceded in death by her parents her brothers, Ed and Bernie and daughter, Debbie. Survivors include her sons, Richard Sarraf, Paul Sarraf Sr., Joseph Sarraf and Ronald Sarraf daughter, Victoria Sarraf Volkman sister, Phyllis Ging 10 grandchildren and 14 greatgrandchildren.
