James Eubanks

Services for James Richard Eubanks, 47, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at HarperTalasek Funeral Home with the Rev. John Hallum officiating. Burial will follow in Killeen City Cemetery. Mr. Eubanks died Feb. 23, 2011, at a Temple hospital.

He was born July 11, 1963, at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, Md. He spent most of his life in Texas except for a stint in the U.S. Navy.

Mr. Eubanks was preceded in death by his stepfather, Fred Mooney infant son, James Bubba Eubanks Jr. and mother, Jean Mooney.

Survivors include his father, John Eubanks Sr. of Killeen two sisters, Beverly Smythe of Montgomery and Patricia Eubanks of Killeen and two brothers, Bill Percival of Las Vegas, N.V., and John Eubanks of Killeen and several nephews and nieces, including Sara Eubanks of Harker Heights.

The family will receive visitors from 5 to 7 p.m. today at HarperTalasek Funeral Home in Killeen, which is in charge of arrangements.
