James Hanley

Mass for James R. Jim Hanley, 55, of Killeen, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Adam Martinez officiating.

Mr. Hanley died Feb. 6, 2013, in Copperas Cove. He was born Dec. 10, 1957, at Fort Sam Houston.

He attended St. Joseph Catholic School, Rancier Junior High and graduated from Killeen High School. He also attended Central Texas College and Texas State University.

Mr. Hanley was employed by EPS Corporation as an electronic technician at Fort Hood. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus 4724. He was known for his caring and considerate attention to others and had many friends in Killeen and Copperas Cove.

Mr. Hanley was preceded in death by his father, Gerald Thomas Hanley and brother, John Hanley.

Survivors include his mother, Florence Hanley of Killeen brothers, Daniel P. Hanley and his wife, Donna, of Prosper, Thomas A. Hanley and his wife, Patricia, of Houston, and Michael J. Hanley and his wife, Andrea, of Austin his life partner, Patricia Brown of Copperas Cove and numerous nieces and nephews.
