James Kelley

Services for SSG RET James G. Kelley will be held at Harper Talasek Funeral Home in Killeen on Monday May 20, 2013 At 1:30 P.M. with an US Army Chaplain officiating. Burial with full military honors will follow at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery, in Killeen, Texas.

Mr. Kelley died May 15, 2013 at a San Antonio, TX. hospital. He was born July 8, 1933 in Hyannis, MA. He lived and went to school in Provincetown, MA until joining the Army in 1966.
James served in the US Army for 20 years with service in Vietnam. During his service he was awarded numerous decorations. He retired in 1986 at Fort Hood and went to work for Centex Ready Mix, retiring in 2006. He was married to Geraldine Kusser on May 26, 1968, in Weymouth, MA.

He is survived by his wife Geri daughters, Marcie Lee Laing of FL and Amy E. Kelley, Austin, TX granddaughter Alexandra E. Albright.

He was preceded in death by his parents Phillip and Elenor Days, and a son, James JR
