James Even Nelson passed away on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, he was 84 years old. James was born on April 23, 1940, to Henry and Helen (Becker) Nelson.
James was an honest and honorable man who loved his wife, his children, and his country. He never met a stranger and was full of knowledge, stories, and jokes. A man that will truly be missed by all that knew him. Giga-waabamin dad.
James is preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Helen (Becker) Nelson.
Those left to honor and cherish his memory are his loving wife, Margarete (Bendler) Nelson, son, Michael Nelson, and daughter, Tanya McKiver.
Services will be held at 2 pm Monday, December 30, 2024, at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen.
