James (Ted) Staton

James “Ted” Staton was born in Georgetown, Tx on February 2, 1944 to Chester and Ima Staton. Ted enjoyed fishing, camping, and watching old western movies after his retirement from the railroad. Later in life, Ted found great joy in spending time with his significant other, the late Mary Vaerewyck.  Ted is preceded in death by his parents Chester and Ima Staton and the love of his life, Mary.  Ted leaves behind many family member and a life that will not soon be forgotten.  He will be missed by many who loved him.
