Janie M. Gonzales, loving wife, mother, and grandmother departed her loving family on Christmas morning, December 25, 2021.
Janie was born in Manor, TX on May 27, 1939. She raised her children with love and devotion with her husband Jimmie Gonzales.
Our mother cared deeply for her family and her birds. She did this not out of obligation, but purely because of who she was.
Now that she’s been called home to be with the Lord, we know she would tell us,
“Do not cry for me, for I am in the Land of Peace and Glory, so please don’t grieve for me, for now I am free. Until we meet again, love one another as I have loved you all. God bless you.”
Janie M. Gonzales was survived by her husband, Jimmie Gonzales; her sons, Jerry, Jesse, and Jacob Gonzales; daughters, Judy Gonzales-Garcia and Joann Suggs; 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. She loved everyone dearly!
She is preceded in death by her father, Matilde Marciel; mother, Eulalia Sanchez; 3 brothers; and grandchildren David Lopez, Jacinda Lopez, Rene Lopez and Jamie Gonzales.
God bless you all.
