Janie Richards

Funeral services for Janie Ann Richards, 68, of Killeen, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at HarperTalasek Chapel in Killeen with the Rev. John Abbey, the Rev. Toby Gonzales and Wally Wallace officiating. Burial will be at 2 p.m. at Restland Cemetery in Gatesville.
Ms. Richards died Nov. 26, 2012, in Round Rock. She was born Sept. 27, 1944, in Taylor. Ms. Richards was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Rique Ortega Jr.
Survivors include her son, Ray Ortega of Lampasas daughters, Christina Stapleton of Lampasas, Regina Ortega of Belton and DeAnna West of Belton 13 grandchildren and three greatgrandchildren. Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at HarperTalasek Funeral Home in Killeen, which is in charge of arrangements
