Jeremy Beimers

A memorial service for Jeremy S. Beimers, 30, of Killeen, will be at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home Chapel in Killeen at 2 p.m. Tuesday. Pastor Peter Beimers will officiate. Cremation will follow at Bellwood Memorial Park.BRBRBeimers died June 6, 2008, near Sweetwater. He was born July 10, 1977, in Chatham, Ontario Canada.BRBRA resident of Killeen since 2003 and a U.S. citizen since December 2007, Beimers attended school at Reformed Bible College in Grand Rapids, Mich. He married Lisa Ash in 1999 and worked as a certified nursing assistant for The Holland Home.BRBRHe joined the U.S. Army in 2003 and served in Iraq. After his discharge, he went to work as a driver for the Killeen Cab Company. He was a member of The Memorial Baptist Church, and had started to work in March as a trackman for BNSF Railway.BRBRHe is survived by his wife, Lisa, of Killeen; sons, Jacob W., Kaleb R. and Joshua P. Beimers of Killeen; parents, Peter and Elizabeth Beimers of Cambridge; brothers, Peter W. and Jonthan G. Beimers, of Ontario, Canada; and a grandfather, Simon Grin of Ontario.BRBRVisitation will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
