With love, gratitude, and respect, we celebrate the life of Jerry Clines, a beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, and grandfather whose presence brought strength and meaning to the lives of all who knew him. 

Jerry was born on August 11, 1952, in Los Angeles, California to J.C. and Johnnie Mae Clines (Hampton). He dedicated 20 years of his life to serving his country in the United States Army, where he retired as an E6 Staff Sargent. His commitment to serving continued for 20 years with the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. These years of service, dedication, discipline, and willingness to give of himself for the good of others. As we gather to honor Jerry, we give thanks for his life, his service, his character, and the love he gave to his family. With faith and hope, we entrust his journey to God's care and find comfort in the love that surrounds his family during this time. Jerry's memory continues to shine in the hearts of those who loved him.

Jerry's greatest joy was the family he cherished so deeply. 

Jerry is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, J.C. Clines Jr.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Nancy, his four sons, Gerald and wife Nicole of Arizona, Renee and wife Caren, Rudolph and wife Jamie, and Gary and wife Kay; grandchildren, Jasmine, Phoebe, Tabitha, Abigail, Lydia, Kera, Samantha, and Darren; brother, Danney and wife Myra; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

A graveside service will be held at the Central Texas State Veteran's Cemetery in Killeen, on Thursday, October 15, 2026, at 11:00AM.
