Jessie Jackson

Services for Sgt. Jessie Lee Jackson, 32, of Pasadena, will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday at HarperTalasek Funeral Home Chapel in Killeen. Burial will follow at 1 p.m. at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery, with full military honors.

Mr. Jackson died Oct. 1, 2011, in Harker Heights. He was born March 20, 1979, to the late Bobby Jackson and Barbara Morris Jackson in Pasadena. He enlisted in the U.S. Army in January 2001 and served tours in Iraq and Afghanistan.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his sons, Charles Jackson and Waylon Hood daughter, Marilyn Rupertus dear friend, Charlene Antolik sisters, Malena Strawn and her husband, Richard, of Daingerfield, Robin Jones and her husband, Jerry, of Hughes Springs nieces, Amity Hastey and Rebekah Jones nephews, Brandon Hastey and Jacob Jones several aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of dear friends.

Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at HarperTalasek Funeral Home Chapel, which is in charge of arrangements.
