Jesus S. Esquivel

Jesús S. Esquivel, 77 años, de Killeen, regresó a casa para estar con nuestro padre celestial el 30 de diciembre de 2023. La misa fúnebre se llevará a cabo el sábado 6 de enero en la Iglesia Católica St. Joseph a partir de las 11 a. m., y el entierro se realizará a las Cementerio de la ciudad de Killeen. Habrá un velorio el viernes por la noche en la funeraria Harper-Talasek de 5 a 7 p. m., con el rezo del rosario a las 6 p. m.

Jesús nació el 29 de enero de 1946 en Coahuila, México, de padres, Santiago Esquivel y Elisa Sánchez. Fue miembro durante mucho tiempo de la Iglesia Católica de San José y a menudo se le podía encontrar en el coro de la iglesia. Jesús amaba la música, los animales y la jardinería.

A Jesús le precedieron en la muerte sus padres, Santiago Esquivel y Elisa Sánchez.

Jesus S. Esquivel, 77, of Killeen, went home to be with our heavenly father on December 30, 2023. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, January 6^th at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church beginning at 11 am, with burial to follow at Killeen City Cemetery. There will be a visitation held Friday evening at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home from 5-7 pm, with the recitation of the rosary at 6pm.

Jesus was born on January 29, 1946, in Coahuila, Mexico to parents, Santiago Esquivel and Elisa Sanchez. He was a long-time member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church and could often be found amongst the choir at the church. Jesus loved music, animals, and gardening.

Jesus is preceded in death by his parents, Santiago Esquivel, and Elisa Sanchez.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Melchora Martinez Esquivel; brother, Antonio Esquivel; sister, Juana Esquivel; son, Javier Esquivel; daughter, Elisa Esquivel Inguanzo; and grandchildren, Celeste Esquivel, Miguel Esquivel, Daniella Inguanzo, Eric Inguanzo, and Erica Inguanzo.
