Graveside services for John Norman, 66, of Killeen, formerly of Washington, D.C., will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Central Texas State Veteran's Cemetery.BRBRMr. Norman died April 10, 2008, at his residence in Killeen. He was born May 24, 1941, in Washington D.C. to the late John Norman Sr. and Noma Noble.BRBRHe was proceeded in death by one brother, Milton J. Norman, and two nephews, all of Washington, D.C.BRBRMr. Norman is survived by one sister, Constance Stiles and husband Charlie, of Killeen; four nieces, Angelita Johnson, Maurita Noble and Teresa Noble, all of Washington, D.C., and Cynthia Stiles O'Shaughnessy of Cedar Park; three nephews, Charles and Christopher Stiles of Killeen and Clifford Stiles of Houston; and three cousins, Olivia Chase of Maryland, Robert and Oliver Chase of Fort Hood.BRBRJohn served two years in the Army and was honorably discharged. He later went to work for Blake Construction in Washington, D.C.BRBRHe enjoyed woodworking and riding his scooter, Sugar Baby.BRBRVisitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Harper-Talasek Funeral Home chapel in Killeen. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m.
