Juan Sierra-Rivera

Services for Juan Francisco Sierra-Rivera 90, will be 1:00pm at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery on May 5, 2017 with Father Chris Downey officiating. Burial will follow in with full military honors.

Juan Sierra-Rivera died April 30, 2017 at his residence.

He was born January 28, 1927, in Baranquitas , Puerto Rico to Aquedo and Julia Sierra-Rivera.

Juan Sierra-Rivera was a World War II, Korean Conflict and Vietnam Veteran.

He is a double bronze star, a Presidential silver star, as well as two Purple Hearts recipient.

Survivors include his four sons; Juan Albert Sierra-Selliva of Arizona, Roderick Sierra-Wittich of California, Carlos Sierra-Wittich of Killeen, and Juan Sierra-Wittich of Killeen; two brothers; Jorge Sierra-Rivera, and Pedro Sierra-Rivera; one sister Susin Alamo; twelve grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.

The family will receive visitation from 6 to 8pmThursday at the funeral home. A rosary will be recited at 7pm.
