Juana Maria Carmona Cardenas Trujillo, born on March 27, 1980, in San Felipe, Guanajuato, Mexico, passed from this life Tuesday, March 18, 2025, in Killeen, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 11 am Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Killeen. Burial will follow in Killeen Memorial Park.
Juana’s life was a beautiful reflection of love, joy, and unwavering faith in God. Her infectious laughter and warm spirit brought light to all who knew her. She lived to uplift others, always putting family first and offering wisdom and protection to those she loved. A generous and selfless soul, Juana found joy in celebrating the successes of others and creating lasting memories with family and friends. Her home was filled with laughter, delicious meals, and fun gatherings, especially during the holidays. Juana cherished life’s simple joys, whether it was enjoying spiritual retreats, exploring flea markets, or attending mass at Nuestra Senora de Guadalupe and St. Joseph Catholic Church. Her memory will continue to live on in all who were blessed to have known her.
Juana is preceded by her brother, Pedro Cardenas, Jr.
Survivors include her parents, Pedro Cardenas Rodriguez and Sanjuana Trujillo Torres; her beloved husband, Salvador Carmona; sons, Jose Luis, Oswaldo, Cesar, and Salvador Jr.; daughters, Mariana, Guadalupe, and Rose; brothers, Juan, and Francisco; sisters, Isabel, Maricruz, Lucy, and Carmen; and grandchildren, Alena, Santiago, and Lorenzo.
A time of visitation will be held from 5-8 pm with a Holy Rosary recited at 6 pm Monday, March 31, 2025, at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Killeen.
