Julia Abercrombie-Williams

Funeral services for Julia F. Abercrombie Williams, 106, of Killeen, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Marlboro Heights Missionary Baptist Church, 2901 Illinois Ave., Killeen.

Mrs. Williams died Aug. 3, 2013, at her residence. She was born Sept. 8, 1906, in Gholson to George and Josephine Abercrombie. She was a longtime Killeen resident, retired teacher and community leader.

Survivors include her daughter, Mary J. Gregory of Killeen her son, John M. Williams of California two sisters, Wilma McCloud of Denver, Colo., and Irene Artis, of McGregor granddaughter, Glenda Steven Reid of Killeen greatgrandchildren, Ryan Daniels of San Antonio, Demetris Daniels of Fort Hood, Aejha Robinson Reid and Avrie Robinson Reid, both of Killeen and numerous extended family members and friends.

Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at HarperTalasek Funeral Home in Killeen, which is in charge of arrangements.
