Julia Gregoire

Funeral services for Julia Judie Gregoire, 77, of Killeen, will be 10 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Charlie Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Killeen Memorial Park. Mrs. Gregoire died Aug. 7, 2009, at her residence. Mrs. Gregoire was born Nov. 11, 1931, in Gettysburg, S.D. BRBRBorn in South Dakota, she married the late Dennis R. Gregoire on March 29, 1952, in San Diego, Calif., and worked for Mid Tex Telephone, which became Centel Telephone Company, which later became Sprint Phone Company, from 1971 to 1999. Mrs. Gregoire was a member of the Telephone Legends Club since her retirement and an active member of St. Judes Circle. BRBRSurvivors include daughters, Pat Hobson and her husband, David, of Killeen; Caron Morrissey and her husband, Tom, of Bay City, Mich.; Mary Chilton and her husband, Randy, of Katy; Margie Kendrick and her husband, Vince, of Houston; Denise Devlin and her husband, Mark, of Richmond; sons, Jack Gregoire and his wife, Leslie, of Katy, Paul Gregoire and his wife, Stacy, of Spring; brother, Orval Bies of MN; sisters, Glada Kermeen of MN; Mavis Phillips of Iowa; grandchildren, Heather and Dan Beckett of Hendersonville, N.C.; Kris and Stephanie Hobson of Killeen; Ryan and Stacy Chilton of Katy; Aaron Morrissey of Little Rock, Ark.; Julie Morrissey and Andy Dempz of Ann Arbor, Mich.; Denny and Alisha Hobson of College Station, Zach and Julie Chilton of Katy; Amanda Edwards of Killeen; James Morrissey of Marion, N.C.; Kristin and Jason Walden of Sulphur Springs; Matt Barone of College Station; Logan Kendrick of Houston; Katy Hobson of Killeen; Alec Gregoire of Springs; Patti Gregoire of Katy; Mary and Grant Faulkner of Hendersonville, N.C.; Michael Kendrick of Katy; Scott Gregoire of Spring; Brittany and Johanna Devlin of Richmond; and 14 great-grandchildren.
