June Kassebeer

June Kassebeer was born in Marshfield, Wisconsin on June 13, 1935. At the age of 24 she kissed snowy Wisconsin goodbye and headed to sunny California where she met her husband to be and later married in Texas on October 18, 1971.

June enjoyed nature, being outdoors, walking daily, and socializing with new and old friends alike. She was a member of Saint Joseph Catholic Church, The Gilmore Senior Center, and in her free time enjoyed planning her next travel journey.

June is survived by her exhusband Adolf Kassebeer of Brownsville, Texas her daughter Karen Kassebeer of Surfside, Florida and her sister Marge Wirsbinski of Mashfield, Wisconsin.

After retiring from the Killeen Public Library in September of 2000, her volunteering and giving back to the community filled up her activity book, along with bingo, exercise classes, and her excitement of partaking in new cultural experiences.
