Funeral services for Katie L. Alford, 66, of Killeen, are 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Killeen, with the Rev. Willie C. Alford officiating. Interment will follow at Central Texas Veterans Cemetery.BRBRAlford died Nov. 6, 2008, in a Killeen hospital. She was born Oct 4, 1942, in Hopkinsville, Ky.
Katie leaves to honor and cherish her memories a husband James C. Alford Sr. of Killeen, TX; one son James C. Alford Jr. of Round Rock, TX; one daughter Nicole Alford of Killeen, TX; three grandsons, Shaum, Damarius and Tradale; two granddaughters, TyEisha and TraNyah, all of Killeen, TX; she also leaves to cherish her memories, a host of other close family, in-laws and friends.BRBRVisitation is 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.BR
