Kyong Cha Ganaha, 70 of Harker Heights, passed from this life Friday, April 11, 2025. Services will be held at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Killeen on Friday, April 25, with a visitation starting at 11 am and funeral service immediately following at 12 pm. Burial will be in Killeen City Cemetery.
Kyong was born on February 13, 1955, to Mun Chan Park and Kun Sun Song in Busan, Korea. She was part of the local Korean church community, as well as the Korean American Association. She was a traditional Korean dance teacher, and achieved so much in life including awards, certificates and trophies from her Korean dance career. Kyong had the best smile and the kindest heart. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, and aunt; and was a wonderful friend to many. She will be greatly missed.
She is preceded in death by her husband, George Noboru Ganaha; brothers, Tu Song Park, and Kwang Hwang Park; and sisters, Mu Ung Park, Sun Cha Hallahan, and Suk Cha Mason.
Survivors include her husband, Pil Won Jeong; daughters, Elizabeth Ganaha, and Naomi Ganaha; and grandchildren, Elijah Tiarraz, and Kim Montgomery.
