Lady Stewart

Memorial services for Lady B. Stewart, 77, of Killeen, will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Killeen, with Deacon Billy McPhail officiating. The body will be cremated.BRBRMrs. Stewart died Jan. 17, 2009, at her residence. She was born April 27, 1931, in Coolidge, where she was also educated.BRBRShe served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. She moved to Killeen in 1967. She worked as an X-ray tech for Darnall Army Hospital for 35 years.BRBRSurvivors include her son, Clyde E. Stewart of Atlanta, Ga.; her daughters, Melody Garris and Fawn Young, both of Killeen, Storm Bergin of Temple, and Spring Childers of Indianapolis, Ind.; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.BRBRMemorials may be sent to Veteran of Foreign Wars Post 9192, 301 Wolf St., Killeen, TX 76541.BR
