Laurie Quinn

August 22, 1956 — March 7, 2024

Killeen

Laurie Quinn, beloved mother, nana, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on March 7, 2024, at the age of 67. She was born on August 22, 1956, in Boston, Massachusetts where she spent her youth surrounded by her sisters (Karen (deceased), Patty (deceased), Eileen, Kelly (deceased), Jackie) and her brother (Michael).

Laurie was a woman of strength and unwavering kindness. Her humor and loyalty touched the lives of everyone she encountered. She always stood as the matriarch of the family and will continue to do so in her passing.

Laurie is survived by her daughters, Laurie Sanchez and Shannon Cranford, her son, Michael Quinn, and her lifelong friend, Mary Walker. Laurie also has five grandchildren, Dimitri(deceased), Heaven, Tatiana, Alex, and Charlie, and two great-grandchildren, Jaiden, and Jaziya. Their memories of shared laughter and late-night conversations will forever be etched in their hearts. Laurie’s absence leaves a void that cannot be filled, but her legacy of honesty, compassion, and love will continue to inspire those who knew her.

A memorial service to celebrate Laurie’s life will be held on Thursday, March 14, 2024, at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Killeen, with viewing beginning at 1 pm and a service to follow at 3 pm.

Please join us for a reception following the service hosted by Mary Walker at 3607 Minthorn Dr., Killeen, Texas 76542.

Laurie Quinn’s spirit now rests among the stars, forever ebbing and flowing like the ocean she loved so much. May her memory be a lighthouse for all who seek kindness and truth in this world.
