Services for Leonardo Flores, 81, of Killeen, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at HarperTalasek Chapel in Killeen with the Rev. Jimmy Towers officiating. Burial will follow in Killeen City Cemetery.
Born in 1930, Mr. Flores worked as a migrant farmer in Central Texas, eventually settling in Killeen. He worked as a heavy equipment operator for the city of Killeen, Arnold Screwdriver, McDowell Enterprises and retired from Cooper and Bright. He enjoyed his family and sharing the word of God. He will be missed.
Mr. Flores was preceded in death by Mary Rodriguez.
Survivors include two sons, Leonardo Jr. and Rafael Flores four daughters Linda Guess, Jane Flores, Caroline Clauson and Andrea Sons 29 grandchildren 25 greatgrandchildren three greatgreat grandchildren, his brother, Ramon Flores and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at HarperTalasek Funeral Home in Killeen, which is in charge of arrangements.
