Louise Nixon-Greenlee

Louise Nixon-Greenlee, 78, of Killeen, passed away on Thursday, December 22, 2022. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 5, 2023, at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Killeen with Pastor Roy L. Sephus officiating. Visitation will begin an hour prior to the service.

Louise was born on September 28, 1944, in Birmingham, Alabama to Daisy Miles and Roosevelt Nixon. She spent many years as a CAN, beginning with Bellhaven Nursing Center in Killeen, and also worked for Indian Oaks Nursing Home in Harker Heights. Those who knew Louise knew she was an all-around good person and would often be found delivering meals to the homeless community within Killeen. She enjoyed spoiling her children and taking care of their own children. She never met a stranger, and always wanted to help those around her.

Left to cherish Louise’s memory are children, Samantha Nixon, Lisa Williams, Mark Nixon, Toni Tolbert, Curtis Nixon and Justin Nixon; her sister, and numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and her 2 closest protectors, Snoop Dogg and She-ba.
