Madell Lankford

Services for Madell Lankford age 90, formally of Harker Heights will be at 2:00 PM on Monday March 1, 2010 at The HarperTalasek Funeral Chapel in Killeen with the Reverend Floyd Richards officiating.

Mrs. Lankford died peacefully Feb 26, 2010 at the Granbury Care Center in Granbury, Texas. Madell was born in Daingerfield, TX. She lived her adult life in Lubbock and Harker Heights, TX, as a Homemaker. She loved to oil paint. In the 80s and 90s, she attended The First Baptist Church of Harker Heights were she taught Sunday school.

She is survived by her two sons, Ron Scott and his wife Linda of Granbury, Carrol Scott and his wife Jeri of Granbury a stepson Lamon J. Lankford of San Antonio one sister, Corine Goss of Roswell, N.M two brothers, James Quarles of Longview, and, Gerald Quarles of Kilgore, two grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband A. A. Lankford.

Visitation will be Sunday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Funeral Home.
