Marcella Chandler

Graveside services for Marcella Cook Chandler, 90, of Harker Heights, will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 2, 2015 at Killeen Memorial Park.
Mrs. Chandler passed October 28, 2015, in Copperas Cove.
She was born Oct. 3, 1925 in Oceana, W. Va.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 57 years, First SGT. Rudolph V. Chandler (US Army Ret.), her son Stephen F. Chandler, her parents F.M and Sara Ann Cook, and siblings Desmond Cook and Janet Cook Blankenship.

She is survived by her son: Dana R. Chandler and wife, Pamela, of Harker Heights; her nephews, Richard and Maurice "Randy" Blankenship and their families; a step-granddaughter, Kristin Peterson, and great-granddaughter, Emily.
Mrs. Chandler retired from the Office of Personnel Management at Ft. Hood after 25 years' service. She was a member of the Harker Heights United Methodist Church, Daughters of the American Revolution, Order of the Eastern Star, and Lonestar Travelers RV CIub.

The family will receive visitors from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Killeen.
