Margaret Heathcott

Funeral services for Margaret L. Heathcott, 81, of Killeen, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Memorial Baptist Church, with the Rev. Kenneth Cavey officiating. Burial will follow at Killeen City Cemetery.BRBRMrs. Heathcott died Feb. 7, 2009, at her residence. She was born Oct. 12, 1927, in OK Community, Bell County.BRBRShe attended school in Copperas Cove and in Killeen. She married Dewey Heathcott on Dec. 24, 1947, in Florence.BRBRMrs. Heathcott was preceded in death by her husband; her parents Richard and Clytee E. Huggins; two sisters and one brother.BRBRShe is survived by her son, Richard A. Heathcott and his wife Betty of Houston; her daughter, Nancy McDowell and her husband Bob of Kempner; her grandsons, Scott Heathcott of Houston, Heath McDowell of Austin, and Craig and Reese McDowell, both of Kempner; and numerous nieces and nephews.BRBRVisitation will be Tuesday February 10, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Killeen.BR
