Marjorie Elaine Barkley, 62, of Killeen, Texas, passed away peacefully on January 29, 2026. She was born on December 26, 1963, in Tacoma, Washington, to the late Frank and Lola Barkley.

Marjorie was a proud graduate of Killeen High School, earning her diploma in 1981. She went on to receive her Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in 1985. Throughout her career, she worked faithfully as an Administrative Assistant and Secretary, where her intelligence, organization, and dedication were evident to all who knew her.

She had a deep love for reading and was an avid crossword and puzzle solver. Marjorie was intelligent, witty, and had a wonderful sense of humor that brightened the lives of those around her. She loved all animals, and it was often said that all animals loved her right back.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Lola Barkley, and her sister, Betty Riggs Waltermire.

Marjorie is survived by her sisters, Hellena Barkley, and Wanda Messer and her husband, Philip. She is also survived by extended family and friends who will miss her dearly. She had no children or grandchildren.
