Marjorie Jones

Services for Marjorie Ellen Jones, 82, of Killeen, will be 11 a.m. Friday at Harper-Talasek Chapel.

Ms. Jones died Feb. 8, 2017, at her residence. She was born Aug. 7, 1934, to the late Orville E. Bernard and Leona M. Authier.

A resident of Killeen since 1979, Marjorie loved to volunteer her time to many of the local agencies here in town. Most recently, she served as the event coordinator at the Veranda at Twin Creek, volunteering her services to include cooking for events and arranging flea markets.

She was an avid reader and a real go-getter, who will be truly missed.

Ms. Jones was preceded in death by her parents and two siblings.

Survivors include her children, George Kuck (Shelly), Larry Kuck (Joanne), Leora Jones; Dawn Bryant (Joseph), Deloris Curtis (Sonny) and Donald Kuck; 17 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

A rosary will be held at 10:00 a.m. at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home Chapel Killeen.
