Martha Perren

Martha Ruth Hennig Perren of Killeen, passed at the age of 66 on the Sunday morning of March 4, 2012. Visitation will be held Wednesday March 7, 2012 at Harper Talasek funeral home in Killeen, from 6 to 8pm. Funeral service will be held at First Baptist Church of Killeen on Thursday March 8, 2012 at 12pm. with Pastor Randy Wallace officiating. Burial will be at Kosse Cemetery in Kosse, Texas. Martha was born March 25, 1945 in Marlin, Texas to Kathryn Stricklin Dillon and Guy Stricklin. She is preceded in death by her parents and her son, Michial Hennig. She is survived by her husband Norman Perren Jr. of Killeen, her son David Hennig and his wife Susan of Harker Heights, daughterinlaw Miranda Hennig of Salado, two sisters, Anne Byer of Riesel, Jean Williams of Waco, and eight grandchildren. Martha was a business owner of Accent Floors in Killeen for 40 years. She was a long time member of the First Baptist Church and a pioneer behind their Singles Ministry. She was a dedicated member of the Texas Federation of Womens Club, a devoted volunteer at the Killeen Food Care Center, and a member of various other church committees. Memorials may be made to the Food Care Center of Killeen, 210 N. 16th St., Killeen, TX. 76541. Martha was a loving Wife, Mother, Granny, Aunt and Friend. She will be missed by All.
