Mary Kathleen Flynn

Mary Kathleen Flynn, age 102 of Killeen, Texas passed from this life Thursday, April 25, 2024, in Belton. Services will be held at 10 am Saturday, May 11, 2024, at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Killeen.

Mary was born on March 29, 1922, to Thomas Taylor and Ethel Theresa (Garner) Bailey in Tunica, Mississippi. She worked at Ft. Hood PX as a Supervisor Salesclerk until she retired. Mary was a member of the Memorial Baptist Church of Killeen and the Granny Dancers of Killeen.

Mary is preceded by her husband, H. J. Flynn; her parents; sisters, Virginia Chambliss, Rosa Arns, and Elie Polk; and brothers, Sidney Bailey, and Kelly Bailey.

Survivors include her son, Jim Flynn; daughters, Mary Dianne Doriety, Virginia Kathye Reaves, and Denise Moorehead; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made in Mary’s name to The American Cancer Society.
