Milagros Annessi

Services for Milagros Annessi, 89, of Killeen will be at 10 a.m., Monday at Harper-Talesek Funeral Chapel in Killeen.

Interment will be at Killeen Memorial Park with Mother Janice Jones officiating.

Mrs. Annessi died Sept. 13, 2017, at a Temple nursing center. She was born in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico, the daughter of Juan Berrios and Sunta Rivera. She was born and educated in Puerto Rico, graduated from Colegio de Agricultura y Artes Mecanicas in 1949. She came to the United States in 1988. As a member of St. Christopher's Episcopal Church, she performed missionary work in Honduras. She was also a member of the Daughters of the King.

She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include one daughter, Mildred D. Rivera, of Killeen; one son, Luis E. Rosa-Berrios, of Edmond, OK; one brother, Victor M. Medina, of Houston; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home, 506 N. 38th St., Killeen.
