Narssie Farris

Services for Narssie Farris, 96, of Nolanville will be held Saturday February 17th at 2:00 P.M. at the Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Killeen, Texas with Rev. Don Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Nolanville.

Narssie died Sunday February 11th, 2018 at her home, surrounded by family. She worked as a seamstress and in alterations for many years. Her family was very important to her and she loved to fish (with a cane pole) and to work in her garden.

She married Woodrow Wilson Farris on August 14, 1941 in Nolanville. Narssie was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Nolanville. She was preceded in death by her husband Woodrow, parents Lee and Virgie Swope, sister Estelle Wells, brother Lee (Buck) Swope and her son Joe Farris.

She is survived by her son Lee Everett (Shirley) of Nolanville, daughter Mary Gault of Corpus Christi, her son Tom Farris (Dotty) of Gatesville, 11 Grandchildren, 24 Great-Grandchildren and 14 Great-Great Grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Jeffrey Clark, Noa Correa, Bryan Everett, Brett Everett, Robert Correa and Scotty Murray.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Evan Correa, Augustus Everett and Cody Fieldier.

Visitation will be Friday February 16th from 6 - 8 pm at Harper -Talasek Funeral Home, Killeen.
