Funeral services for Nicanor S. Benavides Jr., 93, of Killeen, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at HarperTalasek Funeral Home in Killeen with the Rev. Jimmy Towers officiating. Interment at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery will follow at 3 p.m.
Mr. Benavides died Dec. 23, 2010, in Temple. He was born April 7, 1917, in Bridgeport.
Survivors include a sister, Juanita Gomez of Killeen, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation is from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday at HarperTalasek Funeral Home in Killeen, which is in charge of arrangements.
