Nieves Mosqueda

Services for Nieves L. Mosqueda, 68, of Harker Heights will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Harper-Talasek Funeral Home Chapel in Killeen with Chaplain Robert Cepeda officiating. Cremation will follow. BRBRMrs. Mosqueda died Sept. 12, 2009, in a local hospital. BRBRShe was born Nov. 27, 1940, in Kingsville and was educated there. She was married to her childhood sweetheart, Escolastico Mosqueda. A homemaker, mother and doting grandmother, she loved dancing. She was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church in Belton. BRBRShe was preceded in death by a daughter, Cynthia L. Mosqueda. BRBRSurvivors include her husband, Escolastico Mosqueda of Harker Heights; two sons, Christopher Mosqueda of Harker Heights and Jesus Mosqueda of Alamo; two daughters, Valinda Y. Mills and Norma J. Freed, both of Harker Heights; a brother, Ramiro Longoria Jr. of Flint, Mich.; two sisters, Rebecca Gonzalez and Gloria Garcia, both of Kingsville, 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Monday September 14, 2009, 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.BRBRMemorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association. BR
