Ofelia liked being outside in the hot Texas sun!  Her favorite activities were gardening, walking, sewing, playing BINGO, making flower arrangements, listening to music and being out on the dance floor with Ramie.

She was a long time member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Killeen and volunteered for church and school activities. She and Ramie had a year-round routine making “cascarones” for the Fest-of-All for 30 plus years.

Ofelia is preceded in death by her husband "Ramie" in July 2009.
