Ofilio Espinoza

June 19, 1945 — September 19, 2012

Mr. Ofilio L. Espinoza was born in Corpus Christi, TX on June 19, 1945 to Jesus and Isabel Espinoza. He was considered by his children and family to be a strong faithful man. Family was important to him, above anything. He had a boisterous laughter that is reminisce of his son Daniel. His eyes would twinkle when he was with any one of his kids having a great time. His heart was a gypsyadventurous one. Music always carried a special place for him. A song came on the radio that brought back memories that he liked calledPreso sin Delito. A verse in this song states If I die in prison I will leave a paper with the words written for the whole world to see that I was a prisoner without a crime. Justice was also very important and he had no qualms in using his voice to speak up. It gave us strength that he could tolerate where he was and manage to keep the ongoing faith and love for his family sane. Only recently we found out the nickname Indita was dubbed to all his daughters and granddaughters that made each one feel special. He loved his mother dearly and had a special place in his heart for his brother, sisters, and children.
Along with your never ending love for family, sense of humor, strength, helpfulness, faith, and love of life will live inside us forever. You have given us gifts that are precious that we share with each other and other lives we touch. Goodbye for now, and know you will always live in our hearts.
He will be missed and we find comfort he is in Gods presence and loved ones that have gone before him. He was preceded in death by his loving father, Jesus Espinoza and sister, Cruz Espinoza.
He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved mother, Isabel Espinoza two sisters, Rosa Garza and Santos Espinoza a brother Domingo Espinoza and son Daniel Espinoza 4 daughters, Dominga Reyes, Patricia Farias, Gloria Espinoza and Peggy EspinozaHorn. Including a host of grandchildren, greatgrandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other loving relatives and friends.
