Oleta Lambert

Funeral services for Oleta Samantha Wade Lambert, 84, of Killeen, will be at noon Wednesday at HarperTalasek Funeral Chapel in Killeen with Pastors James Binion and David Scoggins officiating. Burial will follow at Killeen Memorial Park.

Mrs. Lambert died Dec. 19, 2011. She was born Sept. 24, 1927. She was a precious gift that blessed our lives and many others by her undying faith and walk with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Allie Wade her loving husband, the Rev. M.W. Lambert twin daughters, Joann and Diann Lambert three brothers, Dole, Elwan and Ronald Wade two sisters, Betty Vaughn and Loretta Faye Nance her son, Richard Dale Matthews twin grandsons, Moses and Marvin Lambert a granddaughter, Ruby Hoover and a great grandson, Jr. Matthews.

Survivors include a brother, Levoy Wade and her four children two sons, Marvin Wayne Lambert and his wife, Annie, of Killeen and Juston F. Lambert and his wife, Belinda, of Fort Worth two daughters, Glinda Kay Lambert Cavanaugh of Killeen and Cathie Diann Lambert Matthews of Killeen 16 grandchildren and 18 greatgrandchildren.

Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at HarperTalasek Funeral Home Chapel in Killeen, which is in charge of arrangements.
