The beauty of Gods expansive glory was manifested upon the announcement affirming the blessed birth of Pamela S. Nicholson on March 29, 1954. She was born to the parental stewardship of A.B. Lee and Vernice Lee in Lawton, Oklahoma.
Pamela was instructed, influenced and inspired to secure her eternal destiny in Glory by accepting Jesus Christ as her personal Savior in the tender years of her youth. She attended public school in Killeen, Texas and, graduated from Killeen High School in 1972. Her quest to assure the maximization of a quality life for herself and her family bore the fruit of her submission to the discipline of preparation through higher education. After graduating from high school, she enrolled as a student on the campus of Central Texas College in Killeen, Texas. Here she attained an Associates Degree in Network Administration with a concentration in Computer Information Technology. She furthered and fulfilled her hearts determination to attain a Bachelors Degree in Applied Science in Information Systems with honors from The University of Mary Harden Baylor in Belton, Texas. She earned her Masters Degree in Business Administration as an honor student while attending Texas AM in Texarkana, Texas.
The fruit of her education gave birth to the fulfillment of an honorable and productive career. She faithfully served the Federal Government as an Information Specialist for a combined total of ten years. In addition to her work, Pam managed to serve the needs of people as a preserver of justice and equality for all. She was a Union Representative as well as a member of The Greater Huachuca area Branch of the NAACP.
Her time away from work afforded her the ability to enjoy the fruit of her labor. Among some those activities and experiences she considered most enjoyable was to travel aboard luxury cruises. During one of her travel excursions, she had the pleasure of being acquainted with an R B Artist, Faith Evans. To be certain, this remained a permanent highlight among her travels. She possessed an undeniable appreciation for music, media and plays. She was a woman of deep conviction, compassion, possessing a genuine concern for everyone blessed to know her.
She loved to cook for her children who were the love of her life, and often for anyone among the hungry that she could feed. Her grandchildren bear the true essence of her spirit and often afforded her the refreshing strength of laughter, adding an abundance of joy to her life. Although a legitimate grandmother in every sense of the term, she was unwilling to bear the title. She is recalled as jokingly stating, We dont use the G word. Im too young to be a grandmother. Therefore, her grandchildren have affectionately and respectfully come to acknowledge her as Mau Mau.
Her missionary journeys across the Body of Christ began as a faithful member of the Marlboro Heights Missionary Baptist Church. Here, the unique and distinct flavor of her personality blessed the lives of countless Saints. Her transition from Killeen, to Arizona led her to unite with God is Good Ministries in Sierra Vista, AZ. Here she undeniably sprinkled the lives of the pastor and church with her indelible spirit complemented by her incredible smile. Among so many aspects of her qualitative pursuit of Life was her insistence upon making the most of every day of her life. While most people choose to celebrate the date of their birth, Pam instituted a personal law to celebrate the entire month of her birth. She believed in making the very most of her life.
Most would humanly suggest that her life was too short however, the quality of ones earthly journey far exceeds the time that one is afforded to fulfill the total scope of its purpose.
On February 26, 2013 Pam answered the call of God to exit the highway of this earthly life to enter into His eternal Presence. Among those preceding her departure are her father, A. B. Lee and her grandmother, Lurlene Hicks.
