Services for Phyllis M. Morris, 73, of Killeen will be held October 20th Friday 10 a.m. at Harper-Talasek Chapel in Killeen. Burial will follow in Killeen City Cemetery.
Phyllis was born August 16, 1944 and passed away on October 15th in a local hospital
She was born and educated in Pittsburgh, PA. Throughout her life she held many jobs, but the one that most pleased her was being a mother and grandmother. An out spoken woman Phyllis was not afraid to tell things her way.
She was a kind and caring woman who helped anyone she could. Her favorite thing in life was spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She was an avid bingo player, a cub scout den mother; KHS band mom, and active in the PTA, who attended Saint Joseph's Catholic Church.
She is survived by her husband, CW4 (USA, RET)Wayne A. Morris, Killeen; daughters, Deborah L. Morris, Katy, TX; Sandra L. Stagg and her husband Philp, Harker Heights; grandchildren, Ashley M. Flores and her fiancé Kerry Cunningham, Temple; Christopher W. Valmores and his fiancé Mandy Broughton, McGregor; Holly M. Brown, Harker Heights; Clara L. Beech, Katy; great-grandchildren, Sebastian A. Flores, Temple; Lila E. Valmores, Harker Heights.
She was preceded in death by her son, Wayne A. Morris JR, and her parents.
Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Killeen, which is in charge of arrangements.
