Ramon Estrada

Graveside services for Ramon (Rocky) Estrada, 79, of Killeen, will be 9:00 a.m. Wednesday April 24,2019 at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery,

Mr. Estrada died April 16 at his home with his wife and son at his side.

He was born on May 31, 1939 to the late Ramon and Rosa Estrada in Santurce, Puerto Rico.

Mr. Estrada proudly served in the United States Army until his retirement on June 23, 1979. He also worked with the Texas Prison System, Walmart Distribution Center and Scott & White Food Service.

Mr. Estrada is survived by his wife, Glynda; sons Russell and Randy; daughter-in-law Norma Aviles, and Rose Lopez; grandchildren Ashley Garcia, Courtney Estrada, Louis Martinez, Fernando Martinez and Russell Estrada Jr.; great-grandchildren Javier Garcia Jr., Jacob Garcia and Adalyn Garcia.

His hobbies included woodworking, fishing, watching baseball, cowboy shows and movies. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Life will not be same without him.
