Raymond Savala, 76, of Killeen, Texas, passed away on Friday, September 18, 2026.

Raymond was born January 30, 1950, in Arkansas City, Kansas, to Alfred Savala Sr. and Valentine Savala (Esquivel). He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps for four years before retiring from the United States Army. Following his military career, Raymond then served as a correctional officer in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice for 16 years, and later spent 13 years working as a logistics contractor on Fort Hood.

Raymond was a hardworking and honorable man who lived his life with integrity. A true workaholic, he took pride in everything he did and rarely took vacations. As a natural comedian, he had the innate ability to make people laugh with his great sense of humor. He also loved his Golden Retriever, Tiger, who held a special place in his heart.

Raymond was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred Savala Sr. and Valentine Savala (Esquivel).

He is survived by his wife, Toksun Savala (Chong); children, Malissa Rhoades, Marnie Guillamun, and Mason Guillamun; siblings, Mary Helen Savala, Angeline Mendoza, Alfred Savala Jr., and Charlie Savala; grandchildren, Terrell Savala, Madison Guillamun, and McKenzie Guillamun; and great-grandchild, Noah Savala.
