Richard Botton

Richard Louis Botton, 77 of Killeen, TX passed away December16, 2011 at a local hospital. A Graveside Service will be 3:00 pm on Tuesday December 20, 2011 at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery.
Richard was born September 8, 1934 in Rugby, North Dakota. He was the son of the late Russell Louis and Marion Piercy Botton. On June 16, 1957 he married Betty Pryor in Ft. Worth, TX. He served in the US Army for two years. Richard was a twoway Radio Technician for Bell Communication until he retired in 2003 after 45 years with the company. He served as a Police Reservist in Minot, North Dakota for 30 years.

Richard is survived by his wife of 54 years Betty Botton of Killeen son Russell L. Botton of Minot, ND daughters Belinda Olean and her husband Brent of Carlton, MN Donna Griffey and her husband Wayne of Killeen, TX sister Loretta Knight of Prescott, WI seven grandchildren and one greatgrandchild and host of dear friends.
