Robert Bazemore

Funeral services for Robert Earl Bush Bazemore, 54, of Killeen will be held on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at HarperTalasek Funeral Home with Reverend Willie Clarke officiating. Interment will follow at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery.
On Tuesday July 31, 2012 in the year of our Lord, a trumpet sounded and the heavenly choir sang praises as one of their own, Robert Bush Bazemore was called home after 54 years of touching the hearts and lives of many on earth.
He was preceded in death by his fathers William Bazemore and Earle Bush. Mother Elizabeth Powell, Grandmothers Mary Smith, Flossie Bazemore and Grandfathers John Smith and Bush. Uncles Charles Smith, David Smith, Oliver Bazemore, Melvin Bazemore, Sylvester Bazemore, Aunts Hazel Johnson and May Plant, cousin Mitchell Smith.
Joey or Rob as he was affectionaltely known was born on January 3, 1958 in LIC, NY. He attended all his school years in NYC. He joined the Army at an early age and after serving his time finished his working years with the NYC Postal System until becoming ill and further on retired.
Robert Rob Joey was the older of two children from his mother and loved spending time especially holidays with family and friends. He never met a stranger and always had a smile that reflected the light and love of Jesus.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory one son Robere Bazemore of MD, three daughters, Ashley Bazemore of Texas, Tina Austin Cory of NJ, and Camari Bazemore of Charlotte, NC. Two grandchildren, Jaylan and Shaila Austin of NJ. One brother Baron Bazemore Daniela, two nephews Baron and Larry Bazemore of GA, six aunts, Doris Ware of Anderson, SC, Particia Daniels of Atlanta, GA, Nancy Beasley of Atlanta, GA, Shirley Bazemore of CT, Saundra Bazemore of CT and Ruth Smith of Greensboro, NC, cousins, Michael Smith of Philadelphia, PA, Michele Ware, Trina Bradford and Kelly Smith Daniels of GA and Carlos Beasley of GA. Devoted companion Penny Williams who spent more than half of her life with Rob.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m at HarperTalasek Funeral Home.
