She was born Oct. 17, 1917, in Livingston County, Ky.BRBRShe was a pharmacy clerk for more than 40 years. She was also a member of the Methodist Church of Rosiclare, Ill., where she sang in the choir. She was a member of The Eastern Star and an avid quilter.BRBRTravis was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, a sister and a half-sister.BRBRSurvivors include a son, Harold E. Travis and his wife, Mary, of Killeen; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; a niece, Georgia Ross; and a very dear cousin, Harold Kempner.BRBRHarper-Talasek Funeral Home in Killeen is handing the arrangements.
