Sandra "Sandy" Blaisdell

September 10, 1957 — September 12, 2025

Killeen

Sandra “Sandy” Jean Blaisdell, age 68, of Killeen, Texas, went to be with the Lord on September 12, 2025. Surrounded by her beloved children, Sandy left this world peacefully, wrapped in the same love she so generously gave throughout her life.

Born on September 10, 1957, in Temple to Donald and Jean Beighle, Sandy’s life was marked by unwavering devotion to her family, infectious joy, and a fierce love that defined every role she held—wife, mother, MeeMaw, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend.

Sandy had a contagious laugh and a smile that could light up any room. Her presence had a way of making the ordinary feel special, and her kindness left a lasting mark on all who were blessed to know her. Sandy’s deep love for her five children was evident in everything she did, and in her eyes, her ten grandchildren could do no wrong. She cherished every moment spent with them.

In addition to her love for her family, Sandy was a woman of determination and strength. Later in life, she pursued and earned an Associate’s Degree in Computer Science from Central Texas College. She managed Bob Bearden’s Sportsworld for several years before transitioning to a successful 26-year career in banking, retiring in 2022 as an Assistant Vice President – Contract Manager at First National Bank Texas.

On August 11, 2008, she married Steven Blaisdell. Together they built a beautiful life filled with laughter, companionship, and unconditional love. The two were inseparable until Steve’s passing in 2023.

Sandy is survived by her devoted children: Aimee (Kevin) Parker, Heather (Edward) Ampelas, Wendy (Patrick) Frerich, Dustin (Johanna) Rowe, and Joshua (Samantha) Rowe. Her greatest joys were her grandchildren: Kyle Parker, Kaylee Parker, Weston Underwood, Bella Frerich, Sofia Rowe, Carson Underwood, Ty Frerich, Nick Rowe, Connor Rowe, and Hailey Rowe.

She is also survived by her loving mother, Jean Beighle; her brothers Gary (Sharon) Beighle and Kenny (DD) Beighle; and her sister Amanda (Jerry) Kilgore; along with many nieces and nephews.

Sandy is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Steve Blaisdell; her father, Donald Beighle; and her brother, Kieth Beighle.

Those who knew Sandy will remember her as a woman of boundless compassion, unshakeable strength, and joyful spirit. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of her family and all who were lucky enough to know her.
